Cuervo y Sobrinos has rediscovered one of its historical chronographs, created in 1946. The Historiador Landeron is a reinterpretation of said former classic, equipped with a fully restored Landeron 248 movement.

Landeron was a Swiss movement maker, founded in the late 19th century.

In 1924, the Swiss firm began producing chronograph movements and thereafter gained a reputation for making this type of complication. This specialist company continued to make chronograph movements until the advent of the quartz watch and the temporary decline of mechanical watch sales. Sadly, like many firms in the 1970s, despite making impressive products, the company ceased trading.
